Job description
  • Act as a Business Partner to operations to drive improvement in manufacturing cost and formulating accurate standard costing. Vigorous cost management and variances analysis to support management decision.
  • Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, benchmarking and recommending actions.
  • Work closely with various departments for standard product costing and new model costing simulations.
  • Simulations of product profitability and sales forecasts.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of standard and actual costing framework.
  • Update standard cost in the bill of materials.
  • In-dept cost variances analysis and resolve cost related issues.
  • Support all monthly cycle count and year end stock taking activities.
  • Investigate cycle counting variance and resolve issues.
  • Manage overall company inventory control.
  • Prepare standard costing for material, labour cost and manufacturing overheads for annual budget.
  • Implement internal controls and ensure SOX compliance.
  • Responsible for monthly costing reports and analysis of variance reports.
  • Support ad hoc projects.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in manufacturing industry
  • Ability to research, compile, analyse and interpret data
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office
